About these numbers
- Period return
- Last close divided by first close, minus 1, over the dates shown.
- Worst drawdown
- The largest fall from a higher close earlier in this same window. It is not an all-time figure.
- Annualised volatility
- Standard deviation of daily log returns times the square root of 365. It needs at least 30 daily returns and a close on every day.
How we calculate
Every number here comes from one saved copy of the daily prices and one fixed set of formulas. When either changes, its label changes too, and the numbers are worked out again. This page uses Dataset 2026-11-03.120e407e, method version 1.

How to read this comparison
- Both lines start at 100 on the same day. A line above 100 is higher than at the start of the window, and a line below 100 is lower.
- The return in the table compares the last day with the first. It does not show the path in between.
- Worst drawdown is the largest fall below an earlier peak inside this window. The Drawdown view shows it day by day.
- Change the dates and the numbers change too, because every figure depends on the selected window.
Daily closes through 3 Nov 2026 (UTC), source: Coinbase Exchange and Kraken. The comparison describes the selected window only and draws no conclusion about which asset is better.
What this comparison leaves out
- Price return only. Staking rewards, airdrops, fees and taxes are not included, so it is not total return.
- Daily closes. Moves within a day are not visible.
- One window. A different start or end date can give a different picture.
- A small, curated set. Two assets that are still listed say nothing about the wider market.
