    How this works

Market mood. The mood word is Rising when at least two thirds of the coins with a 24h change are up, Falling when at least two thirds are down, Quiet when at least two thirds are flat, and Mixed otherwise.

Breadth · 24h. Coins in the view whose 24h price change is above, below or exactly zero. A coin with no recorded change is left out and counted separately.

Median change · 24h. The middle 24h price change of the coins in the view. Half of them moved more, half less.

Volume vs baseline. Total 24h trading volume on the listed exchanges divided by the total ranking volume of the same coins (the median of their last few ticks). Above 1 is more volume than that recent reference.

The ranking is by 24h trading volume on the listed exchanges. It is not a market-cap ranking, and market cap and supply are not shown.

Prices and volumes are sampled every few minutes from the public APIs of the listed exchanges. When several exchanges answer, the price is their median. Rank and membership come from the latest hourly ranking.

The status in the page header says whether the data is up to date, delayed or stale, with the time of the last update. A row whose own price is more than 10 minutes old is dimmed and marked "stale".

Stablecoin, wrapped, staked and leveraged assets are shown with their class. They are never ranked and never produce events.

Changes are facts from comparing two published snapshots. If none occurs, the list says "No membership changes in the last 24 hours". They are not scored stories.

Stories describe one measured, unusual move each, with the evidence behind it. They do not say why the market moved and are not advice.
