2. What the site is
Coins.place has two parts: the Performance Lab, with tools for comparing historical crypto asset prices and simulating past recurring purchases, and pages that compare cryptocurrency exchanges. Everything on the site is for information and education only.
3. Not advice
Nothing here is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or an offer or recommendation to buy or sell anything. Historical figures describe the past. Past performance does not predict future results. Make your own decisions, and consider independent advice.
4. Affiliate links
Some links to exchanges may be affiliate links. If you open an account through one, the exchange may pay us a commission. Affiliate links are labelled next to the link. Whether an exchange pays us is never an input to how we compare it. The affiliate disclosure says whether any affiliate links are in use today, and the methodology explains how we check data.
5. Price data
The Performance Lab uses daily closing prices (UTC) from Coinbase Exchange and Kraken. Daily closes through 3 Nov 2026 (UTC), source: Coinbase Exchange and Kraken; retrieved 4 Nov 2026. The methodology names the source of each asset.
The data can contain gaps, delays or errors, and it may differ from the prices you see on an exchange you use. Do not rely on it for trading or for any decision where an error would matter.
6. Data provider terms
The prices are read from the public market-data services of Coinbase Exchange and Kraken. Their own terms apply to their data. Coins.place is not affiliated with them, and nothing here implies their permission or endorsement.

7. Accuracy and availability
We check our data and date it, but information on the site can be out of date, incomplete or wrong. Exchange fees, features and availability by country change often, so check them on the exchange's own site before you act. We may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time, without notice.
8. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- copy the site or its data with automated tools in a way that slows it down or harms it for other visitors;
- try to get around the site's security, or test it for weaknesses without permission;
- misuse the "Visit" links, for example by generating fake clicks;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
9. Content and trademarks
The site's text, design and code belong to the operator (Pending: operator name), unless stated otherwise. Exchange and asset names and logos belong to their owners. Showing them does not mean that their owners endorse Coins.place, or that we endorse them.
10. Links to other sites
Links take you to sites we do not control, including exchanges. We are not responsible for their services, terms, fees or availability. Read their terms before you sign up or trade.
11. Liability
The site and its tools are provided "as is", without any promise that they are complete, accurate or always available. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for decisions you make, or losses you have, from using the information or tools on this site.
